JDRP is an open-access journal that investigates and publishes articles of provocative issues and perspectives in the field of Dental research, reflecting global practices.

The Journal of Dental Research and Practice is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that is published keeping in mind the requirements of the dental community. The journal is dedicated to keeping its readers informed of the latest ideas, developments, opinions, and key issues in dentistry, be it clinical, practical, or scientific in order to spark interest and constructive discussion among dentists of all disciplines.

Studies pertaining to oral health such as oral pathology, endodontology, orthodontology, and periodontology, are covered under the scope of the journal. Prevention, diagnosis, and management of diseases afflicting the teeth, gums, and mouth, as well as related pathophysiology, molecular genetics, are of special interest to the journal.

The Editor-In-Chief of Journal of Dental Research and Practice is Dr. John E. Nathan, DDS, MDS is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 1983. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and holds both Fellowship and Mastership status with the American Society of Dentistry for Children.

Welcome are manuscripts that typically comprise many forms from contemporary literature reviews on relevant topics, prospective and retrospective research, editorials, critiques, case reports, and academic considerations from educational curricula to private practice realities”.
